Unsolicited and unwanted emails are becoming a larger problem since they’ve been flocking inboxes with undesired messages. Email services have therefore made their spam filters more stringent.
At The Value Builder System™ we applaud these methods as they help prevent spam and allow users to have a clean and focused inbox. But, nothing is really perfect. Many times important and informative emails are sent into the spam folder without our knowledge. This usually happens when the service provider does not find a particular email in its database of valid IDs or when you have not added the email sender to your contact list.
Whitelisting emails will make sure that you receive emails from the required email IDs, while preventing spam coming in from the others.
Below you will find various email applications and instructions on how to whitelist an email address.
Note: Here is a list of the emails used by The Value Builder System™ and their purpose.
- info@thevaluebuildersystem.com (used for Nurture Cycle: the preview email sent to advisors 3 days prior to being sent out, and the email sent to active contacts.
- noreply@valuebuildersystem.com (used when sending credentials through the system (such as, reset password, Value Builder engagement login credentials. This is also the 'Send' email that we use for the default Value Builder System option for SMTP).
- notify@valuebuildersystem.com (used for notifications sent to you as the advisor when a contact completes an activity, such as begins an assessment or completes an assessment, completes a form for the eBook etc.).

Others
The most common ways to whitelist an email address is by adding it to the address book, white list or safe list in the email application. However, there is no standard method and it might differ from application to application.
If you do not find such an option, you will need to contact the support team of your email application and they’ll surely be able to help you with this.
