In an active engagement with a contact, you are able to export a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file consisting of the Action Items that your contact and you have set out in the modules. You are able to view all cumulative action items by clicking into the action items heading at the top left in the Value Builder Engagement. To download, you can click on the Export to CSV button.
Once the download is complete and you have opened the CSV file, you will see the categories and information separated by semi-colons. Though a CSV file is normally a comma-separated value file, we have chosen to use semi-colons as they do not appear often and this will reduce the chance of the file being incorrectly formatted. An example is shown below.
To sort the file, please complete the following steps:
1. Click on Column A to highlight the entire column. Go to the Data heading and click Text to Columns
2. Choose the Delimited option in the pop-up window and press next.
3. Check off the box beside Semicolon and press finish.
4. Your data is now separated into the appropriate columns.
